The inspiration stems from three distinct historical presences in the greater Chequamegon Bay Area: the small boat fishing industry, local Native American architecture, and the sturgeon. The interior evokes the feeling of being within a longhouse. Then, when viewed from specific angles, the south-side curtain wall appears as the outline of a Lake Sturgeon.
